By accessing or using the NEXI platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including educational institutions, instructors, and administrators.

2. Description of Service

NEXI provides an AI-powered education analytics platform that uses computer vision and machine learning to analyze educational sessions, measure student engagement, and provide actionable insights to educators and institutions.

3. Account Registration

To use NEXI, you must:

  • Be authorized by your educational institution
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the platform to monitor individuals without proper consent
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our algorithms

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of NEXI is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our data practices. Educational institutions are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from students and staff for video analysis.

6. Intellectual Property

The NEXI platform, including its software, algorithms, design, and content, is owned by NEXI Educational Technologies and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform for its intended educational purpose.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance.

8. Limitation of Liability

NEXI provides analytics and insights as informational tools. We are not liable for educational decisions made based on our analytics. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the service with 30 days written notice. We may suspend access immediately for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our data retention policy.
